Penlee House is a favourite gallery, set in the Morrab gardens, we will visit their current exhibition entitled 'Another Cornwall' which focuses on the links between Cornwall and Brittany and featuring works by Stanhope and Elizabeth Forbes, Walter Langley and Frank Heath. There will be an opportunity to see pictures from the permanent collection of Newlyn School in the galleries upstairs.

Wells Cathedral is beckoning! Learn more about the wonderful west front with its array of saints and sinners and is one of the greatest collections of medieval statuary anywhere ... our tour will include the Chapter House with its wonderful staircase and intriguing capitals. There will be some free time to enjoy a good lunch in this delightful city or to enjoy more of its special places ...
In the afternoon we visit Cothay, the beautiful gardens surrounding this medieval manor house are a joy at any time of the year and particularly when the late summer colours are at their best.
